Impact – OLD

We define impact through our vision: good nutrition is good business. The way we see it, increased demand for healthier foods is good for everyone — for individuals, businesses and society as a whole. Impact also shows up in how we do business, structure our company, and interact with our communities through the policies and procedures we put into place. And although impact can take on many meanings, one thing is certain: there is always more to be done.

Our Mission

To empower global change agents in food and nutrition

Our Vision

Good nutrition is good business

Our Mission and Vision Deconstructed

We empower our clients to move the needle on health and nutrition – from improving product portfolios to sharing and translating science. We gather key insights and evidence, develop strategies and guidelines, create and disseminate content, facilitate partnerships and build effective tools, platforms and networks – all of which equip our clients to further their efforts around nutrition and health.

Our clients include companies in the food, beverage, agriculture and pharmaceutical sectors whose products and services span the globe. We also partner with commodity boards and trade associations representing farmers, growers and producers throughout the supply chain that play key roles in our global food system. And we work with global non-profits or health organizations that strive to improve the lives of vulnerable populations worldwide.

Whether it’s due to the sheer scale of meals they serve, their status as a best-loved brand or the magnitude of their influence, our clients are poised to be agents for positive change when it comes to people’s health and wellbeing. But health and nutrition experts also have the credibility and authority to be change agents, which is why we regularly offer new platforms to amplify their voices as well, enabling greater impact. Additionally, as a women-owned, values-driven company, we have the responsibility to serve as change agents within our field, and are committed to actively supporting students and professionals of underrepresented groups to join the next generation of health experts and thrive in the field of nutrition.

Our work supports the delivery of nutritious, delicious, accessible food and beverages to people around the world – it also supports nutrition education. Sometimes that means sharing compelling content and recipes with nutrition and health advocates. Other times, it means advising companies on where to innovate or change their portfolio to improve products’ nutrition. If it concerns food, nutrition or sustainable diets, we can help.

We know that promoting nutrition and health is good for society. But we also know that investing in good nutrition – whether by the government, a food company or the healthcare sector – can make economic sense. As a B Corporation, we firmly believe in using business as a force for good, and that any effective and sustainable solution must be underpinned by a solid business case.
